Three of Margaret’s images are on display at the Mackenzie Art Gallery in Regina, Canada, as part of a show called the Radical Stitch, on until August 28, 2022.
Her very popular pieces Milky Way Starry Night, Milky Way Spiral Galaxy, and The Light Echo, on loan from the collection of The Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in Yellowknife, Canada, have been hung in a place of honor, just inside one of the two exhibit halls.
Margaret is one of 48 Indigenous artists from around Turtle Island/ North America whose work is featured in the show. Curated by Michelle Lavallee, Cathy Mattes and Sherry Farrell-Racette, the show is one the most extensive collections of contemporary beadwork ever displayed.
You can take a brief virtual tour of the exhibit here.

Such amazing work! No wonder the Smithsonian wanted her.
